Doha, Qatar: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched the “Hand in Hand” mural initiative as part of the “Qatar Is Good” campaign, embodying the meaning of community solidarity through an innovative approach that brings humanitarian work closer to people and makes them active participants in it.
In a statement issued today, QRCS said that the initiative, which kicked off this Saturday from the Old Doha Port, comes within the framework of strengthening social cohesion and promoting a culture of giving. It presents an interactive model of how feelings of empathy and support can be transformed into real action that leaves a tangible impact on the ground.
The mural, launched in the presence of Managing Board Member and Secretary-General of QRCS, Engineer Ibrahim bin Hashem Al Sada and Director of Resource Development, Khalid Abdulrahman Al Ibrahim along with a number of guests and members of the public, will tour several locations across the country, including Katara Cultural Village and Gewan Island.
