Doha: The Ministry of Justice yesterday opened a mobile office at the Doha Festival City (DFC) to offer various services to the public. The office offers real estate registration, documentation and related transactions clearance services to the public without any need to visit the Ministry headquarters or its offices at other locations, said the Ministry in a report on its website. About the office, Assistant Director of the Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice, Alia Saad Al Naimi, explained that this step has been taken after the success of the previous experience of the Ministry’s mobile office in the Mall of Qatar during the month of November.
She said that mobile office is first-of-its-kind that brings services closer to the public to save their time and efforts. The mobile office has been launched following the directive of Minister of Justice H E Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri to bring services closer to the public and making them easily accessible.
Alia explained that, given the success of the previous experience and in the context of interaction with the public, a survey seeking public opinions was launched through the Ministry’s digital platforms to determine the next destination of the mobile office.
The survey which run for a week, witnessed a great turnout from the public, as the number of participants reached 1,741, the majority of whom chose Doha Festival City for another location to provide the services through mobile office. Based on a fresh survey, which reflects the public’s interests in obtaining the services of the Ministry of Justice, the upcoming destinations will be determined based on the results of ongoing survey.
