Malomatia and Q-Post sign deal for E-POS

Qatar Post and Malomatia have signed an agreement for introducing Electronic Point of Sales (E-POS) systems and self-service Kiosks across their branches in Qatar.
Qatar Post and Malomatia, the leading national IT service and solution provider yesterday announced signing the agreement for introducing Electronic Point of Sales (E-POS) systems and self-service Kiosks across their branches in Qatar, said a press release.
The agreement will immediately commence with a projected go-live plan in December 2017. For the execution of this project, Malomatia has teamed up with top technology supplier of automated retail postal systems & solutions in the world today.
The signing ceremony took place at Qatar Post Head office and attended by both Faleh Al Naemi, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Postal Service Company, and Yousef Al Namaa, Managing Director and member of Board of Malomatia.
On this occasion, Al Naemi said: “It is our pleasure to announce today the signing of this agreement which is one of most ambitious IT project for Qatar Post, which will ultimately support our objectives of implementing an advanced technology project that meets the company’s current and transformation future needs, and one that will improve customer experience significantly.”
“Qatar Post is eager to provide the world latest postal technological services by transform their traditional way of doing business operations by introducing Electronic Point of Sales (E-POS) systems and self-service Kiosks,” he added.
Naemi further said, “Working with Malomatia on this project is in fact based on our trust on this leading national company for executing nation-wide major projects in various sectors.”
