Minister of Energy and Industry H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada and Kahramaa President Eng Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari at the Annual Planning Forum of Kahramaa, yesterday.
Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) organised its Annual Planning Forum (APF) under the theme of “ Efficiency Towards Excellence” to discuss the Corporate Strategic Plan (2017- 2021), the Road Map to Vision 2030 and plans of the different department for the same planning cycle.
The forum was attended by the Minister of Energy and Industry, H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada , Kahramaa’s President Eng Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari, Directors, Department Managers and senior functionaries of kahramaa.
The Corporate Strategic Plan which has primarily six major objectives namely asset excellence, operational excellence, people excellence, community and social excellence and commercial excellence would be achieved through a number of key performance indicators (KPIs) and all the departments’ business plans have been aligned with it with their KPIs to achieve set parameters and targets.
The Annual Planning Forum discussed the business plans (2017–2021) of Kahramaa’s Directorates and Departments. The forum discussed the roadmap to meet the challenges of utility sector and customer service to help achieving goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada said that Kahramaa’s Corporate Strategic Plan (2017- 2021) has embodied in it the philosophy of QNV 2030, tenth- point strategy of the second phase of National Development Strategy (2017- 2022) and remarks made in the speech of the Emir, H H Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al hani during the opening of 45th Advisory Council. Kahramaa launched its transformational journey in the beginning of 2014 by adopting the general strategies and objectives which it aimed to achieve over the next five years, and a long-term roadmap until 2030.
