Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued the Decree No. 51 of 2016 ratifying a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in the legal field between the Ministry of Justice of Qatar and the Ministry of Justice in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan signed in Amman on February 21, 2016 annexed to this Decree, reports QNA.
The MoC shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution. The Emir also issued the Decree No. 52 of 2016 ratifying an agreement for cooperation in the legal field between the Government of Qatar and the Republic of Kenya signed in Doha on April 23, 2014 annexed to this Decree. The two Decrees shall be effective starting from the date of their issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette. Emir issued an Instrument of Ratification approving an Air Services Agreement between Qatar and Benin signed in Doha on Novemebr 12, 2014. The Emir also issued an Instrument of Ratification approving a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Qatar and Greece in the field of health and medical science signed in Doha on October 26, 2008.
The Emir issued an Instrument of Accession approving the accession of Qatar to the Nagoya Protocol On Access To Genetic Resources And The Fair And Equitable Sharing Of Benefits Arising From Their Utilisation To The Convention On Biological Diversity. Emir ratified Cabinet Decision No. 32 of 2016 issuing the Executive Regulations for the Human Resources Law.
