Doha: The State of Qatar took part in the 79th meeting of the Governing Board of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), which started Monday in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, and runs for two days.
Assistant President of the State Audit Bureau for Audit and Financial Inspection, Hamad Ahmed Al Sulaiti is representing the State of Qatar at the meeting.
The meeting deliberated on reports tracking the implementation of INTOSAI's activities and the efficiency of resource utilization, approved the financial statements for 2024, and the estimated budget for 2026-2028, in addition to weighing in on the operations of the organization’s affiliated regional bodies.
