Doha, Qatar: Ideal Indian School has announced that Sahal Faisal (pictured), a student of Grade 12, has been selected to represent the Qatar National U-17 Handball Team in the World Championship, marking a historic and celebratory moment for the school community.

The prestigious tournament is currently being held in Morocco from October 24 to November 1, where Team Qatar is competing in the group stage against strong contenders — Tunisia, Spain, and Korea.

Sahal’s participation at this elite global stage stands as a shining example of determination, discipline, and sporting excellence.

The Chairman, President and Principal of Ideal Indian School conveyed their best wishes to Sahal Faisal and expressed that his achievement is not only a personal triumph but also a moment of collective pride for the entire institution. “Sahal has made history and brought glory to our school. His dedication and passion for the sport will inspire many more students to dream big,” said Shaik Shamim Saheb, the Principal, in a statement of appreciation.
