The European Jazz Festival will be held at the Katara Cultural Village on October 30-November 1. The musical event is jointly organized by the Embassies of Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland in partnership with the Katara Cultural Village Foundation.
The performances will take place in the courtyard just behind building 5. Some of the finest representatives of the European jazz music will entertain the audience completely free of charge.
The musicians will take the opportunity to lead workshops and master classes for the benefits of the Qatar Music Academy music students.
In anticipation of the concerts, the movies Michel Petrucciani and les fils du vent will be screened at the Drama Theatre on October 28 and October 29 starting at 7.30pm.The Peninsula
