Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain using a number of drones, describing them as a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and a blatant breach of international law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, stressed the need to spare the region the consequences of these unjustified attacks, continue on the path of dialogue and diplomacy, de-escalate tensions, and build on the gains achieved under the memorandum of understanding (MoU) in a manner that contributes to strengthening security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
The ministry reaffirmed the State of Qatar's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
