Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Head of the Qatari Haj Mission H E Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem meeting with Qatar Haj Mission officials during his visit to camps of Qatari pilgrims in Mina and Arafah.
Makkah: Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Head of the Qatari Haj Mission H E Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem made an inspection tour of the camps of Qatari pilgrims in Mina and Arafah after the preparations of the camps were completed and distributed to the campaigns.
The visit aimed at learning about the readiness of the campaigns to receive the pilgrims and provide all the facilities and services that help them to perform the rituals smoothly and safely.
The Head of the Qatari Haj Mission stressed the keenness of the wise leadership on providing the necessary care for the country’s pilgrims along with the best services, and making ready all means of comfort and safety to help them perform the Haj.
During the inspection tour, His Excellency was briefed on all the preparations in the camps and was assured of the functioning of the work mechanism according to the plans developed by the specialised support units to provide all services throughout the days of Haj in the camps in the holy sites.
The Minister praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the pilgrims, noting in this context the cooperation of the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Umrah and the concerned authorities in the Kingdom with the Qatari Haj Mission and their keenness to facilitate the work of the mission and facilitating all matters and procedures to serve the pilgrims of Qatar.
During the inspection tour, the Head of the Qatari Haj Mission was accompanied by Consul General of Qatar in Jeddah H E Rashid bin Saeed Al Khayarin, Deputy Head of the Qatari Haj Mission Ali bin Sultan Al Misifri and members of the advisory committee and heads of the mission’s support units.
Meanwhile, Qatari Haj Mission hosted Haj campaigns owners at the mission’s headquarter in Makkah Al Mukarramah to coordinate efforts, promote communication bridges, and share perspectives to have a successful Haj season ahead of Qatar’s pilgrims’ flocking to Mina to spend the day of At-Tarwiyah.
Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Head of the Qatari Haj Mission Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem met with the campaigns’ owners and listened to their opinions and requirements, in pursuit of preparing a conducive environment and affording best services to Qatar’s pilgrims.
Qatar is exerting its utmost efforts for the service of its pilgrims and all campaigns in order to have a distinguished season of Haj, he said, underscoring the mission’s keenness to provide support and cooperate with the owners to facilitate the performance of rituals comfortably and in a correct manner.
