DOHA: As part of its Ramadan campaign ‘The best time to share our best’, Ooredoo volunteers visited Qatar Foundation for Elderly Care (Ihsan) to bring joy to some of the people supported by the foundation.
Volunteers spent time with some of the residents, learned more about their lives and spread joy in this special time of year to those in need.
After breaking fast together, volunteers presented gifts to the elderly and congratulated the organisation for its work.
Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director, Community & Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “The foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of seniors, advocating their rights, increasing awareness on issues facing the elderly and guiding their families.
“This is a subject that should be close to everyone’s hearts during this time of reflection and Ihsan plays a vital role in Qatar.”
Khalid Abdullah, Senior Director, Public Relations and Information, said the visit contributed to the foundation’s efforts to integrate the elderly in all categories of society and provide them with a better quality of life. “The visit was part of a special, long-lasting and growing relationship we have with the company, and we hope our cooperation will develop further to ensure a better life for the seniors,” he added. Volunteers were received by a group of employees and patients.
The visit was part of community and charity activities during Ramadan across the country. Customers can follow Ooredoo’s Ramadan campaign via Ooredoo’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page and hashtag #SharingOurBest
