Jaidah Automotive, RAF distribute 300 Iftar meals

Doha: Jaidah Automotive has partnered with Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) on an Iftar project.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the company is distributing 300 Iftar meals at sunset to motorists at the most crowded traffic lights in Doha to break fast. The campaign during the holy month aims to spread road safety awareness among motorists through an innovative and non-traditional approach. 
A team from Jaidah Automotive and RAF is give away meal boxes with ‘Why Risk It’ campaign illustrations and messages. 
Khaled Samir, Director, Operations, Jaidah Automotive, said: “We are excited to launch the project. The unique campaign includes new and creative ideas to increase road safety awareness. I would like to thank RAF for its contribution and support to the campaign, which aims to ensure safer roads during the holy month and throughout the rest of the year.”
The company hopes that the new approach will be effective in reaching out to a wider audience, and raising awareness among the youth. The Peninsula
