Doha: H E Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari, Minister of State, Qatar and President of the Qatar National Library (QNL)welcomed Dr. Andreas Görgen, Secretary-General of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Media, Germany, to discuss future collaborations and cultural exchanges.
The meeting highlighted potential partnerships between the Library and the German National Library through future collaborations in the fields of digitalisation, heritage conservation, education development, culture, librarianship and building a knowledge economy to strengthen bridges of cultural diplomacy between Qatari and German libraries in the years to come.
As part of its aim to promote imagination and discovery, the Library will continue to invest its efforts to share knowledge and empower future generations across and beyond Qatar.
