QRC implements QR402,133 Syria relief

DOHA: Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) has implemented relief projects for the displaced and besieged communities inside Syria, through its representative office in Gaziantep, Turkey, at a total cost of QR402,133.
The first project involved supporting hospitals in northern Syria with medicines and medical supplies, to help them meet the increasing number of patients and injured people. 
QRC’s office in Turkey provided medicines for hospitals in Aleppo and its countryside, including 10 kits of medicines, each covering the needs for one month.
The lot contained 50,614 medicine pack at a value of QR38,663 for the benefit of seven hospitals.
As all medical supplies are cut off in Idlib, QRC secured 51 nebulizers and a lot of medicines, medical consumables, and anaesthesia for five hospitals and two health centers. The medicines cost QR43,427, while the nebulizers were donated from Doha.
