Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Corporate Communications Department acknowledged the management of Al Khor Mall and Lulu
Hypermarket in recognition of their efforts to support health awareness campaigns held by HMC facilities for two years throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The recognition ceremony was attended by Dr. Muna Al Maslamani, HMC Medical Director of the Communicable Diseases Centre (CDC), Hassan Al Hail, HMC Acting Deputy Chief Corporate Communications Officer, and Nayef Al Shammari, HMC Executive Director of Media.
On behalf of the organisation, HMC officials thanked Krishna Prasad, Marketing Executive at Al Khor Mall, Shaijan M O, Regional Director of Lulu Group, Shanafaz, Regional Manager, and Mohammad Shahab, Marketing Manager at Lulu Hypermarket, for their efforts to support CDC awareness campaigns and events such as TB, AIDS, antibiotics use as well as awareness campaigns held by HMC on diabetes, kidney diseases, Alzheimer's and autism throughout two years and during the pandemic.
Al Khor Mall and Lulu Hypermarket played a significant role in the success of HMC's awareness campaigns and contributed to achieving the goals of such campaigns.
HMC officials said that they welcome any opportunity of cooperation with the two outlets to support their future awareness campaigns and events.
Al Khor and Lulu Hypermarket were committed to broadcast HMC awareness videos and to distribute related posters and flyers among visitors. The two shopping outlets also designated special areas for campaign delegates to answer the related public inquiries.
