Doha: Moroccan promising youngster Ayoub Id Omar held on to his overnight leader position at the second day of the Qatar Open Golf Championship.
At the Doha Golf Club, Ayoub led top 50 players into the final round after finishing the second round with a level score yesterday.
The 21-year-old began with a flourish but in the backward journey bogeyed the first three holes.
He quickly calmed himself down and parred the rest of the six holes to collect three under 141, gaining a two-shot lead over Pakistan’s Ahmed Baig and England’s Joshua White.
