Los Angeles: Police arrested six armed activists who occupied a remote wildlife refuge in Oregon, in a clash that also left one person dead, the FBI said Tuesday.
Ammon Bundy, who has led the revolt, was among those arrested. He has said protesters acted at the request of a rancher who wanted to graze his 600 cattle on the federal property, but was prevented from doing so when the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) installed a fence last year.
