Doha: Qatar will host Lebanon in an international friendly on January 31, the Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced.
The match will be played at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, QFA confirmed.
The friendly match, which starts at 6:30pm, will be the first test for new coach Fahad Al Thani who replaced Paulo Autuori more than 10 days ago.
Qatar, also known as ‘Al Anabi’, are preparing for the 2015 Asian Cup qualifiers starting from February 6.
Al Thani’s side has Yemen and Bahrain in Group D of the qualifying campaign.
Qatar’s last two games against Lebanon resulted in wins last year when Al Anabi triumphed in both 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. QNA
