Doha, Qatar: QNB Group, a leading financial institution in the Middle East and Africa is supporting Qatar Cancer Society's (QCS) ongoing ‘It’s Time’ campaign as its official sponsor. It is taking place throughout October to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The campaign aims to raise public awareness, promote early detection, and encourage healthier lifestyles.

The sponsorship forms part of QNB Group’s ongoing efforts to support public health and well-being, in line with its sustainability strategy and commitment to creating long-term value for the communities it serves. Through health education and community engagement, the Group supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. These efforts also align with Qatar National Vision 2030’s human development objectives, including the promotion of a healthy and prosperous society.

Commenting on the partnership, General Manager of Qatar Cancer Society, Mona Ashkanani, expressed her appreciation for QNB’s support and emphasised the importance of collaboration between national institutions in advancing public health awareness. “QNB’s sponsorship of the ‘It’s Time’ campaign reflects a strong model of community partnership, enabling us to extend our awareness messages to wider audiences through outdoor advertising and educational activities throughout October,” she said.

As part of its sponsorship, QNB Group supported an extensive outdoor awareness campaign across Qatar, featuring messages on major roads and 140 advertising screens in shopping malls and public spaces. The initiative aims to reach a wide audience and highlight the importance of breast health and early detection.

The sponsorship also covers awareness workshops and educational lectures organized by QCS throughout October at schools, universities, companies, and government ministries.
