DMIS celebrates Space Week

The CBSE-i section of Doha Modern Indian School was in sync with all space lovers around the world, by being a part of the World Space week.  Various activities were conducted in different classes from on the theme ‘With Space Guiding your Way’. The objective of the activity was to increase the awareness among  students about space and space programmes.
Grade 1 students displayed their talents by hanging models of planets from the ceiling while Grade 2 students used their designing talent to construct their own rockets.
For students of grades 3 to 9 ‘Mangalyaan’, continues to be ‘An inspiration from the sky’. “The space week had inspired the spirit of inquiry of students and it was evident from the models of the space ship which could be seen in different classes. It was impressive to watch the young minds grapple with and solve design problems that they faced, validating the fact that the starry eyed youngsters are geared up for the challenges of tomorrow,” a school statement claimed.
