DOHA: Rumailah Hospital hosted a celebration for patients, families and visitors with fun activities and awareness sessions as part of Customer Day.
Organised by Patient and Visitor Service Centre for the fifth consecutive year, the event served as a platform for patients, visitors and hospital staff to engage in discussions on important topics.
Stalls were set up in the hospital to provide visitors with information about patients’ rights and responsibilities and answer queries.
The event was structured around Ramadan theme with activities such as booths for henna application and photography, among others. Visitors were given handouts on Ramadan and the centre’s services.
Salam Amin Nassar, Manager of the centre and one of the main organisers, said: “We are delighted to have organised this celebration again for our patients and visitors. It serves as an opportunity for us to engage in discussions with them. This solidifies our mission to raise awareness, support people who use our services and helps us use feedback to continue to deliver the best possible patient care.” Mohammad Younes Al Ahmed, Senior Supervisor at the centre, said the event highlighted the importance of patients and visitors and services for them.
“We believe that our visitors play a vital role in contributing to patient recovery. We welcome them, with guidelines in place to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care at all times.”
The centre ensures hospital experiences of patients and visitors are smooth and comfortable. It also serves as a guidance section for patients and visitors.
