Syrian regime airstrike targets market in Idlib

By Halit SuleymanIDLIB, Syria: Four civilians lost their lives and 15 others were injured Thursday when a regime warplane targeted a market in Idlib province, Syrian Civil Defense sources said.The sources, who spoke to Anadolu Agency on condition of anonymity because of safety concerns, said that a regime Su-24 jet targeted a livestock market near the opposition-controlled city of Saraqib.The injured were taken to field hospitals.Syria has been locked in a vicious civil war since 2011, when the regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests with disproportionate ferocity.
