Emir endorses cabinet decisions

Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday endorsed cabinet decision No. 25 of 2015 expropriating some real estate for the public interest.
The decision is effective starting from the date of publication in the official gazette. 
Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement for diplomatic and consular cooperation between Qatar and Kuwait. 
The draft was signed in Kuwait on 18/6/2002.
Emir also approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding for maritime transport between Qatar and Kenya. It was signed in Nairobi on 11/9/2014.
Emir also ratified following draft agreements:
1. Aerial services between Qatar and the government of Guinea signed in Doha on 27/1/2014.
2. Cooperation in economic, commerce and technical fields between Qatar and Kenya. It was signed in Doha on 23/4/2014. 
3. An agreement with Kenya regarding avoiding double taxation and fiscal evasion related to income tax.
4. Agreement between Qatar and United States to improve international tax compliance and to carry out the foreign account tax compliance act and a Memorandum of Understanding related to the subject signed in Doha on 7/1/2015.
Emir also issued an instrument of ratification signing and approving Beijing Treaty Audiovisual Performances which was adopted during the Diplomatic Conference on the Protection of Audiovisual Performances of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in June 2012.
Emir issued Emiri decision No. 8 of 2015 amending some provisions of law No. 3 for 2007 on the use of natural resources.
Emir also issued law No. 9 of 2015 related to safety regulations for GCC small cargo ships that are not included in the International Maritime Organization conventions
The laws are effective starting from its date of publication in the official gazette.
