Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality announced the performance results of municipalities during the first quarter of 2026.
According to an infographic released by the Ministry, a total of 31 food establishments were shut down during the reporting period, while 4,243 violations were recorded.
The data also showed that 95,621 health inspections and 27,055 technical inspections were carried out, in addition to 26,281 general inspections.
Efforts to combat pests resulted in 28,051 operations targeting insects and rodents, while 7,409 advertisement licences were issued.
The Ministry further noted that 4,609 customer service requests were processed during the same period.
