Ans, Belgium - Spain's Alejandro Valverde completed a prestigious double by adding victory at Liege-Bastogne-Liege on Sunday to his Fleche-Wallonne success four days ago.
The 35-year-old chased down compatriot Dani Moreno on the uphill finish in Ans at the end of the 253km La Doyenne race, before still having the strength to hold off Julian Alaphilippe and Joaquim Rodriguez in the sprint finish.
