Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia: Chief-of-Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces H E Major General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem and delegation visited the Qatari forces who participated in the Operation ‘Determination Storm’ and now taking part in the Operation ‘Restoring Hope’ in Yemen, as part of the regional coalition led by Saudi Arabia to support the legitimacy in Yemen.
The Chief-of-Staff and the delegation were greeted on arrival at King Khaled Air Base in Khamis Mushait by Commander of Southern Command in Saudi Arabia Major General Mutlaq bin Salem Al Azima.
Chief-of-Staff conveyed the greetings of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces to the Qatari troops taking part in the operations. He also conveyed to them the greetings Minister of State for Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah.
The delegation was briefed on the progress of the Operation “Restoring Hope”. He commended the cooperation and joint action between the armed forces of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, thanks to the wise guidance of the wise leadership of the two countries.
