Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department has forecast unstable weather conditions across the country over the weekend, with thunderstorms, strong winds, and rough seas expected from Thursday, March 26 through Saturday, March 28.
Today, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 23°C, with a warning issued for thundery rain and strong winds.
On Friday, March 27, thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected, especially early in the day, accompanied by reduced visibility and strong winds with temperature ranging between 27°C and a low of 21°C.
By Saturday, March 28, the country will see a slight improvement as daytime weather will remain moderate with scattered clouds, turning relatively cold at night.
Winds will range between 5 and 25 knots over these three days, reaching up to 55 knots during rains, while sea waves may rise from 3 to 10 ft, occasionally reaching 16 ft.
