Doha: The Department of Meteorology warned Sunday of expected thundery rain at places associated with strong wind inshore, and expected thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea offshore.
Weather forecast for Qatar valid until 6.00 pm today will be hazy to misty at places at first, partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of scattered rain daytime, may be thundery at places at times and cold inshore. Offshore it will be hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain maybe thundery at times.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly to southwesterly 05 to 15 knots, reaching 25 knots with thundery rain, offshore will be northwesterly at 05 to 15 knots reaching to 25 knots with thundery rain.
Visibility will be 05 to 09 kilometer decreasing 3 kilometer or less at places at times. The sea state inshore will be between 1 to 2 feet, rises to 4 feet with the thundery rain, offshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 8 feet with thundery rain.
