As many as 11,529 students appeared for the first term examinations of Qatar secondary school certificate which started yesterday.
The total number of students participating in this exam from the regular day schools is 9201; adult education 2,023 students, Qatar Independent Technical School 169 students, Religious Institute 45 students and Qatar Banking Studies and Business Administration Independent School 91 students.
The examinations are taking place at 57 centres (31 for boys and 26 for girls).
Several officials from the ministry yesterday visited different examination centres. The exams will continue till January 9, next year.
