A Palestinian sniper opened fire on Wednesday at a parked car of settlers located near of Tombs of the Patriarchs in Hebron.
Israeli military sources said that material damage was caused to the car but no causalities were reported as a result of the incident.
Security forces opened an investigation into the incident, combed nearby neighborhoods and deployed soldiers into the scene, sources added.
The source added that clashes broke out after an Israeli soldiers fired a stun grenade toward students.
