Daisy Peters, a fifteen year old GCSE student, has flown 3,627 miles to carry out work experience at wealth management firm Guardian Wealth Management in Qatar. Daisy, who attends the Ranelagh School in Bracknell, Berkshire, spent one week with the company at QFC Tower in West Bay. She is hoping to study for a law degree at university in the coming years.
David Russell, chief executive, Guardian Wealth Management Qatar, said: “We were delighted to welcome Daisy into the Guardian Wealth fold and hope she will have found value in the experience. I studied law myself at Edinburgh University, but found finance a lot more interesting and I am glad I followed this path. I hope after a week in a bustling financial office, Daisy will consider a career in this field.
“She has been a great asset, helping to organise investment dealing forms and helping to schedule client meetings.”
Daisy said: “It has been really exciting working in a real financial office, watching investments coming in. I have lots to tell my friends at school! Everyone at Guardian was really helpful, I am so glad I made the long trip over to Doha.”
