Sudan’s Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour affirmed the depth of the bilateral relations between Qatar and Sudan, praising the results of the talks held by Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the President of Sudan Field Marshal Omar Hassan Al Bashir.
In a press statement at the end of the Sudanese President’s visit to Doha, Minister Ghandour said that the official talks between the two sides dealt with the bilateral relations and the prospects for their development at all levels between the two brotherly countries, noting that the Sudanese President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Emir, the government and the people of Qatar for their essential role in bringing peace to the Darfur region, and effectively contributing to the reconstruction of the region.
