Riyadh: Two Saudi police officers were killed after coming under heavy gunfire in Dammam.
Sources confirmed that the police officers were shot in the al-Dhabab neighborhood of Dammam just after they completed their work hours late on Monday night.
The incident came as one of the officers was driving his private car back to his residence when three unknown gunman started opening fire on the vehicle, leading to fatal injuries.
Police started criminal investigation procedures of the incident which is still under security follow-up. (QNA)
