Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose 0.10% at the start of Tuesday's trading, gaining 9.82 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,750 points, supported by gains in three sectors.
QSE data showed that the Telecoms sector led the gainers, rising 0.61%, followed by Transportation, which rose 0.32%, and Industrials, which gained 0.21%.
On the other hand, Real Estate fell 0.15%, Consumer Goods and Services declined 0.16%, Banks and Financial Services dropped 0.18%, while Insurance fell 1.47%.
By 10am, trading on the QSE was valued at QR 46.215 million, with 25.203 million shares changing hands in 2,666 transactions, according to QSE data.
