Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has completed development and improvement works on Al Markhiya Street as part of Phase 9 of the project to develop and rehabilitate strategic sites in Qatar.
The project involved maintaining a 1,200-metre stretch of road, fully upgrading its infrastructure, and verifying road safety features and assets. Field operations were managed by a team of three engineers and technical staff, utilizing 19 machineries and operating on a 10-hour daily schedule.
The work included asphalt milling and resurfacing using 730 cubic meters of asphalt material, installing interlocking pavers and curbs, renewing 1,200 linear metres of road markings, and replacing 30 manholes
