Qatar Central Securities Depository (QCSD) announced that it had amended the foreign ownership percentage in the shares of Vodafone Qatar to become 49% of the company’s capital, as of Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Vodafone Qatar is a Qatari shareholding company listed on the Qatar Exchange. It is a member of Vodafone Group, the second licensee of public mobile networks and services and the second license of fixed line networks and services in the State of Qatar. Vodafone Qatar launched its commercial operations on March 1, 2009.
