Senior military officials present an award to a graduate.
Doha, Qatar: Qatar’s Candidate Training Center has graduated the 15th cohort of its Military Science Diploma programme for university graduates during a ceremony held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani.
The event was attended by Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, H E Lt Gen (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, along with senior military officials.
The nine-month programme provided candidates with military training, field exercises, awareness lectures and joint exercises with various armed forces units, aimed at developing their combat and leadership capabilities.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Chief of Staff presented graduation certificates to the participants.
Among those attending were Major General (Pilot) Salem Abdullah Al Dosari, Deputy Chief of Staff for Education; Major General (Engineer/Air) Adel Hassan Fakhro, Chief of the Education Authority; Brigadier General (Dr.) Mohammed Abdullah Al Henzab, Commander of the Candidate Training Center, and a number of senior officers from the Qatar Armed Forces.
