KARACHI: Citizens of Karachi after facing a continuous heatwave since five days are also facing prolonged unannounced load shedding on Thursday.
Various areas have also complained of extremely low voltage and fluctuation today, in some cases burning of appliances was also reported.
Areas facing load shedding and low voltage include; Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 3, Liaquatabad, Sindhi Hotel, New Karachi, North Karachi, University Road, and Gulistan-e-Jauhar, besides other localities.
Meanwhile, spokesperson for K-Electric claimed today that the company staff has replaced 40 PMTs in the past 24 hours which will improve the situation very soon.
The spokesperson added that the low voltage problem will also be controlled at the soonest.
