Emir issues decree to adjourn Shura

Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. 37 of 2015 adjourning the 43rd regular session of the Advisory Council. The decree stipulates that the session is to be adjourned as of Sunday, 25th of the fasting month of Ramadan 1436 Hijri year, corresponding to July 12.

Independent schools to open


Doha: Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary-General of Supreme Education Council H E Dr Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali Al Hammadi issued a decision to open nine new Independent schools, relocate 14 and allocate nine buildings for kindergartens. 
The decision aims to ensure the best geographical distribution of various stages of education.

Service road closed for work


Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is closing the service road from Al Asiri Interchange to Khalifa Bin Abdullah Al Attiya Interchange for 45 days from Friday until August 6 to repair longitudinal cracks.
Road users coming from Salwa Road and want to turn right to Al Amir Street will need to take a U-turn to go back to Faleh Bin Nasser Interchange and turn left and again left onto Haloul

Street to reach Al Amir Street. 


Ashghal urged road users to abide by speed limits and traffic signs for their and other road users’ safety.
