Doha: Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO) will hold a concert on Saturday, May 28, to celebrate Europe Day 2022 headed by Conductor David Niemann.

The unique celebration will take place at Katara Cultural Village Opera House. The French Embassy to Qatar together with the German Embassy to Qatar and Katara Opera House in cooperation with the Institut Français, are organising this concert as a homage to Europe.

The concert is a great chance to celebrate and exchange culture between the diverse nations of the European Union as well as with Qatar. On this unique occasion, the unity of Europe, the French presidency of the EU, and the strong relationship between Germany and France represented through this collaboration, will be highlighted through the skilful work of the QPO and the talented conductor David Niemann.

Through the rich programme, the orchestra will be conducted by David Niemann and will play 11 pieces that represent many European countries.
