Doha recently staged a Business Skills seminar for around 40 senior employees from Total’s affliates worldwide. The five-day event was a platform for participants to further develop their leadership skills.
The managers met with a variety of senior executives at Total E&P Qatar who presented on living and doing business in Qatar. At the end of their seminar, the participants toured key sites in Qatar. It was the first time that the Business Skills workshop was held in Doha.
The event was very successful, with participants commenting that they felt more confident and empowered as managers as a result of the training.
“We were very happy to welcome our colleages from Total affiliates worldwide to Qatar, which is an industry hub and a centre of cultural diversity,” said Guillaume Chalmin, Managing Director of Total E&P Qatar and Group Representative in Qatar. “We are equally delighted that the participants developed a better global view of Total. This is a part of our strategy to help build a strong team spirit and strenghten leadership skills.”
