PEC honours meritorious students at annual awards ceremony

Pakistan Education Centre (PEC) organised its Annual Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony recently to honour the students who excelled in the SSC and HSSC Annual Examination, 2014 of the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, Pakistan.
The meritorious students were awarded Shields, Roll Of Honour and Merit Certificates.
Representative of the Sheikh Jasssim and Hammad  bin Jassim Charitable Foundation Muhammad Hummaid Al Mansouri was the chief guest while Fathi Muhammad Abdul Qadir, Chief of the Department of Engineering of the Supreme Education Council, was the guest of honour. Members of Board of Governors (BOG) PEC, Dr Shaukat Saeed, Muhammad Saleem Khattak, Liaqat Amin Satti and parents of award winners attended the event.
PEC Principal Nargis Raza Otho welcomed the guests and presented the annual academic report and said:  “Although we are a community school, we are ready to compete with any international school.”
She highlighted the remarkable achievements made by PEC in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
“We focus on the over-all grooming of our students to make them successful and responsible citizens,” she added.
A1 grade holders were feted by the principal with merit certificates. Members of BOG presented Shields and Roll of Honour to the second and third position holders of SCC and HSSC whereas the toppers of SSC and HSSC were feted by Muhammad Hummaid Al Mansori and Fathi Muhammad Abdul Qader with Shields and Roll of Honour.
Overall first position holders were Maaz Khurram (SSC Science Group), Saba Bashir (Humanities Group), Mariam Noor (HSSC Pre-Medical Group), Abdullah Muhammad (HSSC Pre-Engineering Group), Nadia Khan (HSSC Science General Group), Reda (HSSC Commerce Group) and Roqayya (HSSC Humanities Group).
Overall second position holders were Abeer  Yasmeen Babar (SSC Science Group), Aisha (SSC Humanities Group), Maryam Habib Ahmad (HSSC Pre-Medical Group), Muhib-ur-Rehman (HSSC Pre Engineering Group ), Ahmad Amir (HSSC Science –General Group), Iman (HSSC Commerce Group) and Haneela (HSSC Humanities Group).
Overall third position holders were Ambreen Riaz (SSC Science Group), Laila Bibi (SSC Humanities Group), Iqra Nasir (HSSC Pre-Medical Group), Noor Ali (HSSC Pre-Engineering Group), Zahra (HSSC  Science General Group) and Zoha Zakaullah (HSSC Commerce Group).The Peninsula
