Doha, Qatar: Chairman of Real Estate Regulatory Authority Eng Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli yesterday met with Chairman of Real Estate Regulatory Authority of Saudi Arabia Eng Abdullah bin Saud Al Hammad.
The meeting held on the sidelines of third edition of the Real Estate Future Forum in Riyadh under the slogan: “The Power of Flexibility... Building a Sustainable and Prosperous Real Estate Future” during the period from January 22 to 24. During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance them in areas of work of common interest were reviewed.
Chairman of Real Estate Regulatory Authority also undertook a tour, accompanied by his Saudi counterpart, to learn about the regulations of Real Estate Regulatory Authority in Saudi Arabia, the legislation, and the experience of off-plan sales during the past 15 years in Saudi Arabia. During the visit, he also reviewed the national housing projects and the experience of residential projects so that 70% of citizens in the Kingdom own their first homes. Eng Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli praised the advanced services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to citizens in the field of housing and finance, and its experience in the real estate field.
For his part, Chairman of Real Estate Regulatory Authority of Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of enhancing joint work between the two sides in the field of construction technology and real estate development.
