Doha: The Malaysian Association of Qatar (MAQ) will be organising the Megaride 2018 tomorrow.
The annual event is aimed at bringing together all Malaysian bikers within the community. This year it is expected that 60 bikers will take part in the ride. The group of bikers participating are from the SBK (Super Bike) group and HOG (Harley Owner Group).
The event will be flagged of by the President of the Malaysian Association of Qatar, Mohamad Redzuan Nordin, from Caribou Cafe Al Sadd Stadium at 7.00am.
The riders will then cruise their way to Al Khor through Shamal Highway and end the ride at the Al Khor Community at 10.30am. On hand to receive them will be the new Ambassador of Malaysia H E Dato Ahmad Fadil Nordin to the beat of the traditional hand drums (kompang) by the Malaysian group.
The reception will then kick off with a traditional dance performed by the Malaysian students of Al Khor International School and followed by some raffle draws, a few speeches.
