Doha: The most awaited and the biggest T20 cricket carnival - the Qatar Expat Cricket Community (QECC) League Season-3, begins in Qatar on Friday.
The Season-3 League is organised by Qatar Expat Cricket Community in association with 98.6 FM the first Malayalam radio in Qatar and will run until May 2018.
A total of 120 cricket teams are participating in the league which will be played in two phases - Phase-1 followed by Champions League Phase-2.
The 120 teams are divided in to 10 pools and the pools are named after world famous cricket stadiums. Each pool will have one champion and runner-up and they will be rewarded with cash prize.
Also lot of other exciting prizes and cash awards will be given to pool wise Man Of The Match, Best Bowler, Best Batsman, Best Wicket Keeper, Best All rounder etc.
The matches will be played on Fridays at various grounds across the country, informed the organisers.
