Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday Decree No. 71 of 2017, ratifying a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia on establishing political consultations on issues of common interest, which was signed in Belgrade on January 30, 2017, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
The Emir also issued Decree No. 72 of 2017, ratifying an agreement on the cancellation of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, private and official passports between the governments of Qatar and Republic of Colombia, which was signed in Bogota on July 27, 2016, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
The Emir issued Decree No. 73 of 2017, ratifying a memorandum of understanding on cooperating in the field of transportation between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the State of Qatar and Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was signed in Baku on Mar. 8th, 2016, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
The Emir issued Decree No. 74 of 2017, ratifying a cooperation agreement in the law field between the Ministry of Justice of the State of Qatar and Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was signed in Doha on February 6, 2017, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution. Emir issued Decree No. 75 of 2017, ratifying a joint cooperation agreement in the field of medical sciences and healthcare between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Poland, which was signed in Warsaw on May 5th, 2017, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution. The Emir issued Decree No. 76 of 2017, ratifying on a memorandum of understanding on cooperating in the field of biodiversity conservation and wildlife conservation between the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of the State of Qatar and State Committee of Turkmenistan for Environmental Protection and Land Resources, which was signed in Doha on Mar. 15th, 2017.
Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving the ratification of the Statute of the Islamic Organization for Food Security. The Emir has issued an instrument of ratification endorsing a draft MoU on cooperation in the field of environment and its preservation between Qatar and Sultanate of Oman signed in Muscat on 2/6/2016. The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of agriculture between Qatar and Republic of Uganda signed in Doha on 19/4/2017.
