QTF & Al Majed Open begins today in Doha

Doha: The first edition of QTF & Al Majed Open Tournament will begin today at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
To conclude on November 2, the event will feature the participation of 170 players including 46 national teams’ players to compete in different age groups including boys under 10, 12, 14, and 18 years in addition to Men’s and Women’s categories.
The Qatar Tennis Federation Assistant Secretary General Tariq Zainal (pictured) said: “We are happy with organising this tournament in cooperation with Al Majed Group as this cooperation reflects the spirit of responsibility at the two organisation and their commitment to development of Tennis in the state of Qatar”
Zainal wished the tournament to be a real beginning for a fruitful cooperation between the QTF and Al Majed Group and stressed that the support of the group to the Qatari Tennis underlines its belief in the positive contribution to the local community
