BAGHDAD: Eleven members of Daash organization were killed in Anbar province, west of Iraq, Iraqi security sources said.
The source said an Iraqi army force, backed by Coalition warplanes and tribesmen, today managed to repel an attack by Daash insurgents in Al-Baghdadi area in Anbar province.
The source added that the attack also resulted in the destruction of four vehicles belonging to the organization.
In another development, 10 Daash militants and 4 others were killed in clashes today north of Baquba in northeastern Iraq.
Meanwhile two civilians were killed and two others injured when an improvised explosive charge went off in the military neighbourhood in Al-Touz area in northern Iraq. (QNA)
