Doha, Qatar: Safari, one of the leading hypermarket chains, has launched its ‘1980 Oru Thekkan Nostalgia’ (Travancore Food Festival) promotion.
The promotion was inaugurated on Wednesday, September 23, at the Bakery & Hot Food section of Safari Mall, Abu Hamour. The inauguration was jointly carried out by Deputy Chairman & Managing Director of Safari Group Zainul Abideen, and Mohammed Hamad Soofan Al Ahbabi. Other representatives of the Safari management were also present at the ceremony.
‘1980 Oru Thekkan Nostalgia’, also known as the Travancore Food Festival, is a highly diverse and attractive promotion. Featuring an extensive celebration of traditional delicacies, the festival has been designed to delight food lovers with a wide variety of authentic local flavours.
Another major attraction of the promotion is its nostalgic setting, specially created to take customers back to the memories and atmosphere of the 1980s. Even the staff have been given specially designed costumes inspired by the fashion of the 1980s, adding to the authentic nostalgic experience.
