A group of KPMG staff members handed out food parcels to labour camp workers as part of the company’s Ramadan giving initiative recently. Staff from various departments travelled to the camps in the industrial area to distribute food parcels which include a meal, a sweet and juice. Omar Mahmood, KPMG’s head of Corporate Social Responsibility, said: “Commitment to corporate citizenship and communities is one of KPMG’s core values and Ramadan is the perfect time for us to demonstrate this. An important part of Ramadan is giving to those less fortunate and we are grateful that our staff have given their time to support this worthy cause.”
